What are your "Other" Baby Addictions?

Ah yes...add me to the peekablock addiction...and the FP Little People addiction (I even bought some from the US).....and when I was pregnant it was pumpkin patch clothes and swaddling blankets.

Can't go past a well illustrated childrens book.

I have ring slings, pocket slings, mei tai, hug a bub and some other wraps.

Have a bit of an addiction to wooden and natural fibre toys and surrounding my kids with decent quality classical music so Neurosmith and the like. But I'm clever with these purchases and always have a ready wish list to give to the rels to prevent them spending a fortune on crap (still happens sometimes).

love my op-shopping and garage sale-ing for designer kids clothes. if i had any kind of budget it would be Oilily all the way.

Oooh and vintage fabric (with the idea to make kids clothes from it but really just to admire most of the time)

Mine would have to be fabric!!! I have a 5 door buffet jammed full and some spilling over to the top of it too. I must get back to the sewing machine, lol. And Pumpkin Patch clothes, Love them, but have way too many.

Mines not actually a 'baby' addiction (although DH did just say "what, you finally admit that you have a nappy obsession?!") I am addicted to buying earings...the funky beaded, sparkly ones. I think I currently have about 30 pairs.

I am a member of a babywearing forum and someone once posted a link to a US pram / stroller site, called Stroller Queen, or something like that.

And we were all like "that's weird, how could you be obsessed with strollers, why would you use one?"

But I bet every now and then a thread comes up on a stroller forum like, "look at this sling i saw, how could you spend $200 on a piece of material?"

Each to their own!

PS I mean no offence with this comment, I just wanted to point out how it's interesting how different things appeal to different people, I think it's kind of funny.

Probably for me it used to be Treehouse nursery/bedroom decor - the bebes have the teddy bear (the old bee-a-bear) which used to be Eloise's... (you can see the large cushion in my avatar atm) and now Eloise has Twinkle Pinkle fairies.

Oh, and then there's FP Little People!

books, FP Litle people(we both love to play w them lol), material (way too much stashed under my bed), art materials,but mostly bargains especially from op-shops. my latest was a t-shirt that has born to rock on it and was only 50c!!!

Aiden has 1 pair of shoes 5 bibs tops but lots of singlets and beanies.
Other than nappies, I don't really "collect" anything and I only have lots of nappies cause I need them.
