After reading the thread about Carmen's little one & reading a few posts that explained the meaning of names, I thought it would be interesting to share.
Alexander means "defender of mankind" - I like it because it sounds very noble

My daughter Bella's whole name (first and middle) means "Grace, Beauty and Light". I have absolutely NO idea what Bronte means and I would Really appreciate it if anyone can tell me

Bronte is Greek meaning Thunder....

Kira means "light, sun" with that spelling... which is the main reason we chose that spelling over "Keira" which is "dark lady". And the former suits her MUCH more!!

Louis means *famous warrior* (german) or *famous* (french). his would be more the german. it's also a family name - MILs father's name, brother's name and BILs middle name.

Marcus means *god of war* (from the god Mars). and this suits him to a T LOL
