1. For DH to start lactating for a WHOLE night so I can get a good sleep.

2. AF to return so we can start to ttc a new member of our wonderful family.

Really all I would love is a day with the boys, who have had enough sleep in the day and won't be driving me nuts by 4pm.

Happy Mums Day everyone

Well, I spent $450 on new bedding, a beautiful soft and fluffy doona and a just as beautiful doona cover, I said it was my mothers day present to soften the blow LOL
I'm also getting family photos done! but thats not happening for another couple of weeks..

I'd wish for a nice peaceful day with my family

I would love a whole day to myself, where I could eat, sleep and go to the toilet in peace I would love my house to magically clean itself the way it does when DH goes to work. I would love my uni assignment to do itself as well.

Oh and I would love DH to say "its ok baby you can stop taking you pill" lol.

Ah lovely dreams. . .

I actually bought myself some new gold hoop earrings the cheapest ones I could find only because I don't have a single pair of earrings left. Mine are all broken, or lost. I have been wearing two different ones for a week until the lovely Kathryn from Lady Beads sent me a pair as a gift

Oh and the lady asked if I wanted if gift wrapped and I said "no they're just for me"

Lisa

I will now let you all leave my pity party, have a WONDERFUL MOTHERS DAY everyone

I'd love a nurses watch and have been seriously contemplating buying one for myself as my mothers day pressie.

LOL @ you Carla - I did buy myself a $10 pair of PJs from woolies the other day!

I'd love the same thing as many of you here - a sleep-in, no fighting, a clean house, uni stuff done. No-one other than me here to do them though.

The way my DH is he wont remember any of my hints. Its my birthday in a few weeks and I often get one present for Birth/Mothers day combined.

Scenario 1

They will get me something I don't really want or need or already have (did that last year - oh is that the jumper we bought you for mothers day? um no its the one I already had) he will be totally stressed from going to the shops with the kids by himself - he has NEVER gone with all three by himself and when he gets home he will want a break just to sit..............and I will still love him anyways

Scenario 2

He will expect me to come with them and pick a pressie out for his mum and while I'm there I may as well pick my own present as well - I wont be able to find anything, the kids will want something because its not fair if only mum gets a pressie and I will end up with something I grab just so I can leave the shops .

Scenario 3

DH will offer me a bit of cash to spend on anything I want - what I want being a snap press and a few sewing supplies.

I'd love a piano keyboard. I'd love to relearn. Maybe for Chrsitmas. I just bought myself a book and one for my mum that I want to read. LOL

Well I have already bought myslef some new trackie pants and some PJ's to put into my hospital bag - so in reality that is probably it

What I would LIKE is to get a good night's sleep the night before and not wake up 1000 times to go to the loo, or with leg or stomach cramps, or because my back and hips are aching.... then I would like to spend the day actually being able to breathe for once instead of my lungs being squished into my throat...oh - and to be able to actually eat the breakfast we are going to my mum and dad's house for and not take three bites and say "oh! I am soooo full" (because my stomach capacity has diminished with the increasingly massive belly)

Oh - yeah.. I forgot - these are the things that MAKE it mothers day I should be celebrating them

(Sorry for my pity party! I really am grateful for my beautiful healthy children and my hubby does try his best to be supportive even when I am at my crankiest, LOL!)

As usual, I have bought my own 'cause I can't wait and I want something quite particular: I have a facial for 1 1/2 hours tomorrow. It is a bit spendy so it is actually my Mother's Day, Birthday AND Anniversary gift as they all happen w/i the next month. It's okay, I am quite happy with it.

My almost 4 yo Emi told me about a present she made me at school (however she left it at a friend's house and we have to go get it tomorrow). It is a coupon book for me and if I want a cuddle, I can pull a couple out for a cuddle and give it to her and she said she will give me one.

This is the first Mother's Day where I have received a gift from one of my children. It gave me warm fuzzies all over.

I wasn't going to hint as we have just come back from a holiday and DH did the cooking AND the dishes every night!
But on Brekkie TV they advertised bright pink slippers with heat bags in the feet and he asked if I would be interested in "something like that'
So I hinted quick-smart that a bead/gemstone necklace would do just fine!
I'm soooo excited about my first mother's day, just having finally having our own little family.
