I joined when It was ecobubba
It's been too long, but I came to look at a nappy auction for the first Chibobo Appeal which was a beautiful hand beaded nappy by Kate (Bubba J) it was going for $80 or something, and I thought how amazing spending that much on such a fragile nappy!  I though every here was a little soft in the head, now they probably think that of me

Aaaaw Katanya, I didn't think you were soft in the head....but I did wonder about some of the others!
 I remember lurking for a month wondering if it was all for real... . As for the conversations - I can't remember so they can't have been that interesting  .Actually, I do remember Lucretia was a moderator.... and she sold off a heap of Alia's stash in the Trading Room. I was stunned to think anyone owned that many nappies they could part with so many at once...

Your essay is almost as good as mine - the international laws regarding the trade in Hazardous Wastes!!!!  I remember the change table as well. I thinkit turned out to be an innocent video and all was revealed for nothing!!!

When I first joined THE hot topic was the logo (the swirly thing behind the Nappycino sign at the top). I said that it looked weird and made me feel dizzy. I also thought it looked like a toilet flushing.

I remember bbbs were new or they were clearing out the old hemp. I have a shocking memory.
I thought it amazing ppl were selling knitted pants for $80. Now I think that is a bargain. I avoided the hyena thing cos it seemed like a secret club and I didn't understand it.

I remember everyone stalking Lori's site - especially the VBSN's which were rare as hens teeth! kinda like the itti's of today, LOL
Funny I dont remember the change table thread?? must have overlooked that one - or maybe my Alzhiemers is worse than I thought.
