Default Blackle

Has anyone else come across Blackle? I was just pointed to it and find the concept interesting.

It's google with a black screen, to save power...

www.blackle.com

if it wasn't so hard to read, I might be more enthusiastic about using it.

What do you think?

Good idea - I don't really know the power comparisons between black screen and "normal screen".
I didn't find it difficult to read...maybe it's my new glasses!

i really like the 'sites in australia' (or whatever it's called) feature on google.
so i only use blackle when i'm searching internationally.
good idea tho.

I'm the same Aline
I don't find it that hard to read but I wouldn't use it unless they introduced the option of searching australian sites only.

You could just use http://au.darkoogle.com (another black google version) which searches only Australia, just like the Google in Australia.
