Yeah good one, I've come across it a few times and it always cracks me up.
![]() My DH is actually becoming quite understanding of the work I do as a SAHM with a toddler. No matter how tired he is after work, he still finds the energy to give me a hand with after-dinner chores and cleaning up. But it's my MIL (she works f/t AND does f/t housework/cooking for her household) who has a hard time understanding how busy it is to be a SAHM. She values going out to work and earning money more than SAHM-ness, thus reflecting how she views me. sigh...

too good!!!I have to say tho, DH stayed home for a year while I was at UNI... much easier to appreciate the other role when you've done it (and that was with older little ones, not NB etc) so we are 24hr parents (ok so I do most of the night stuff lol) be it at home or not and when we're both home, we share the role, regardless. (mostly lol)

Trouble is when they do stay home the only bits they do are the essentials like dropping to school....the rest you stil have to do!!!!!! No wonder they think it is cruisey.
