Hmmm, interesting! My choice of jukeboxing would be a close call between some Foo Fighters or Queen. But for a pick-me-up, how about Ok Go?

YouTube - Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats Live

YouTube - Joy Division - Love will tear us apart

YouTube - The Reels - Shout & Deliver (1981)

YouTube - Morrissey - We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful

Just a bit of a 80s love mixed with a bit of Pete and then a great song by Jose

Thank you Mel, I've looked for Shout & Deliver before, but never found it! Wow, someone else who likes both the Reels & Joy Division.

Currently listening to YouTube - Mad World- Gary Jules

Mel, I'm loving your taste!!

for those who like playing with music, check out this site: Mixwit - Create and Share Mixtapes - you can make your own mixtape and post it on your blog... not sure if you can post in a forum, but it's LOTS of fun! :o)

I blame my parents for my musical choices!! We werent allowed to watch too much tv and we always had music on. My godfather was in a band that played around Sydney in the 80's. Plus they saw The Cure before I did!!

Here we go:
The Cure
YouTube - The Cure - Pictures Of You - FULL CLIP
OMD
YouTube - omd enola gay video

3 of the best from Buffalo Tom
YouTube - Wiser by Buffalo Tom
YouTube - buffalo tom -summer
YouTube - Buffalo Tom's Taillights Fade

Saw Jeff acoustic at Coogee Bay a long time ago, MAGIC
YouTube - Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

Dinosaur Jr
YouTube - Dinosaur Jr-"Get Me"

Its a bummer that there is no film clip for this, but the song is just awesome (well to me anyway)
YouTube - Radiohead - Lurgee

One more - I am a Melissa Etheridge fan, there is nothing than belting out some of her tunes loudly. We have been known to do this regularly (my SIL and I) when we used to partake in a bit of alcohol (now we are responsible parents)
YouTube - Melissa Etheridge - Come To My Window

Thats enough torture for you today

Got to say I love everyones song choices.

Heres a couple of mine, the song kicks in at around the 5min mark, I remember watching it when it first went to air and I've loved it ever since.
YouTube - Doug Anthony Allstars - Heard it Through the Grapevine

And just to show what a sining god Paul is
YouTube - DAAS - For Holly - Throw Your Arms Around Me - reunited 2003

And this one for those times when I'm feeling melancholy, its a cover of a NIN song, he recorded it after his wife died, his farewell song he passed away himself not long after
YouTube - Johnny Cash Hurt

Ok, well I was just looking for a cd and found an oldie but a goodie - Mazzy Star! It's a bit weird listening to this cause I haven't heard it in years and recall listening to it too much while in a not so good place, but gee it's beautiful. Might have to come back to it another day though...

And the cd I was looking for - PJ Harvey - Stories from the city, stories from the sea. SUCH a great album!

While I was looking, I also saw all my Matthew Sweet albums which I need to get out and listen to. Ohhhh the power pop goodness!!
