Default A handful of ingredients and you get??

I need sweet recieps, even better if it does well frozen... nothing too complicated as I am a simple cooker. If you just chuck it together and mix it's even better...

Biscuts, cakes, muffins, scones, cupcakes... I am making apricot balls tonight

    Help?

    TIA

These are brilliant. I use half the butter though. You can freeze the biscuit dough or the cooked biscuits.

I just made some of the VVB - makes heaps of mixture - I now have 6 dough rolls in the freezer and a bunch of biscuits cooked.

Master 2 doesn't like them but DH and the big kids will , I added cocoa to some, choc chips to others but left most plain.

I am hoping to bake for xmas presents so am practicing

Hundreds and Thousands Biscuits (I posted it in the failsafe recipe section, but here it is again) Very easy and fun to make. Just remember to refrigerate the dough for an hour.

    60G butter
    1 egg
    1.5tspn milk
    2/3 C sr flour
    1/2 C plain flour
    200g pkt hundreds and thousands
    extra milk

Cream butter, add surgar gradually, beat until light and fluffy. Add well beaten egg and milk. Add sifted SR flour, mix well. Gradually mix in sifted plain flour until dough is firm enough to handle. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Roll our dough to 5mm thickness between 2 sheets of greaseproof paper, cut with floured 5cm round cutter (we use all different shaped cutters). Put on lightly greased oven trays, brush with milk sprinkle with hundreds and thousands. This can be done by using the cutter as a guide. Bake in mod (180C) for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool on tray before removing. Makes about 30.
