NC Cupcake Cooking Quest WEEK 1

lol Wems, I had the whole stick of butter out on the bench this morning to make mine & then when I checked Lesley's original recipe I noticed it was only 150gm. I just put my cupcakes in the oven & was coming on here to let you know

I can assure you Wems, I most certainly do not need fattening up

Just out of interest, how many cupcakes are people getting out of the recipe? I make them in a large patty pan size & I only get 12 cakes.

Lesley's vanilla cupcakes and vanilla buttercream frosting....with Tiny Tots from here

(Lesley sent me down a new piping bag and piping tip and this is the first time I used it, so frosting leaves a bit to be desired I should have had a few practice goes first )

OK just a couple of photos, I will up load the rest to my blog (I am so not a photographer )

I think these will become my signature "Wemsical Cupcakes"

However many is in my pic Minus the 2 that 'fell' into my mouth before icing Mine are large sized too

12 muffin size
24 cupcakes
48 minis

Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less

Today i got 6 muffins and 24 minis
