How did you go with those recipes? I was flicking through Simple Food Ideas yesterday and there was a really simple one that sounded yummy. Let me know if you want a copy of it.

as a "cheater" we make them like honey joys ( honey crackles) usingdried fruit and muesli mixed with the honey joy syrup, I sub the honey for golden syrup tho. My kids ( and teens) love them!

ETA: the cupcake papers help keep them together too
