Your first cloth nappy purchase

I'm feeling nostalgic today.... what was your first cloth nappy purchase?

I remember buying some hemp bubba j's in 2005. Kate had a birthday sale and I was so excited. I couldn't quite work out her website so put about 10 orders through

I still use the nappies today - great absorbency and trim fit. They're looking a bit holey in places though!

My first purchase was a pack of 24 snappiable cotton Tots Bots size 1 & 2 I don't use them anymore these days but keep one as a keepsake. That was back in 2005 too...geez time does fly!

Um my first was from an IRL store here in Perth - BBH I bought one hemp and one bamboo to "try them out" before I decided to take the plunge and buy a whole stash.

Who was I kidding, I was totally addicted after buying those two nappies and I couldn't wait to get more!! The excitement of getting them home and doing the prewashes and waiting for them to dry, so I could try them on Charlotte!

Actually, now that you say that I reckon I had one of those too! I think I ordered it the same day as the Baby Beehinds but the Beehinds parcel came first.

Hmm, I bought terry flats from Kmart for Emma in 2002! Didn't use them as nappies much though ...

My first MCN purchase would have been mid-2005, after falling pregnant with Alastair. No idea what though - probably something dodgy off eBay. Oh yes, after looking at pics of his original nappy stash, it would have been an "AIO" with flannel outer and virtually no absorbency bought off eBay.
