Hi,
I have an allergy child. Due to his intolerances and medical issues etc he is yet fully toilet trained ( 5yrs, 22kg, 113cm). He has little control over bowel movements and sometimes a bit slack on bladder control. I am looking for a pullup type cloth nappy/pant that he can pull up and down for when he is able to wee in the loo, but that is also capable of holding in soft bowel motions when that occurs. It would be useful for me if it can also be undone at the sides to make for easier changing. Also what swim pants are available for this size boy. Most I've come across seem to stop about 17kg? Any advice on whats best for this situation would be much appreciated. Regards Hannah |

Hi Hannah & welcome to Nappycino.
Janie at http://www.theweewuns.au.com/store/ has Happy Heiny training pants that go up to XXlarge (to fit up to 36kg) but she doesn't have any of the snap ones in stock in the large sizes at the moment. Might be worth asking her if she can get some in for you?

Thanks for the links to the training pants, the speedy reply and warm welcome. Looks fantastic and just what I'm after.
Re swimmers, because of his medical condition he can leak a little poo occasionally without realising so I'd feel 'safer' if I could put him in some swimmers like those designed for the littler ones. Thanks again Hannah |

well even with swim nappies you need to get them out the pool asap after a poo. the fabric just slows it down with seepage, not stops it
![]() these go to 18kg.. is he solid or slim build? he might get away with it if slim yk??you could ask the seller http://www.darlingsdownunder.com.au/...p?prod=MEswimJ

Welcome to Nappycino Hannah
![]() RE swim nappies, if you can't find anything specifically for the purpose, any pocket unstuffed (i.e. no absorbency, so it won't hold water) will do the trick. My daughter is a similar size (big 4 yr old, heh) and still wears nappies at night, but what we use probably isn't quite what you want - the only things I've found that fit her, with enough absorbency for night, are XXL FuzziBunz (she CAN pull them up/down, but probably not the easiest thing for your son), XL Peapods (same deal) and a HoneyBoy! pull-up (I bought mine from Stitch'n'Stuff in Canada, but Lesley at Cherub's Kiss does offer them sometimes - these are easy to pull up/down but not the trimmest for daytime use).

Thanks for extra info. Yeah because of his numerous allergies and intoleranaces his diet is very restricted so he doesnt actually carry much extra padding as much as I try and fatten him up, but hes quite tall so he would probably go ok in the 18kg ones.
