Default Hi There and Hello

Hi all!

Thought I might introduce myself... I'm Jen, SAHM to 11 and a half month old Coen, the perpetual motion machine. Coen has been in cloth since he was a couple of months old (terry flats then home made pockets).

I'm a bit of a sewing addict, I particularly love making OOAK dolls and toys. Am raiding my mum's fabric stash at the moment as we're in the middle of a move and my big boxes of fabric somehow ended up at the back of the storage unit

I'm very lucky to have a pro cloth DH. He's a one man MCN crusade, trying to convert all his mates with kids.

At the moment I'm madly knitting soakers for a grilfriend who's due any minute now, then my next project is to make a night nappy that will last 12 hours on my massive wetting DS.

I can't wait to pick your brains!

Jen

What's an OOAK doll?

Looks like many people wanna join Nappycino!

I'm a cloth pad user, if any kids come then they will ALL wear pocket nappies...

Thank for the warm welcome ladies!

I'd love to show off my stuff! I'll have to wait til I get my computer out of storage to get the pics. Maybe I'll get DH to rescue some of my fabric while he's in there... there's a thought.

Kat-Pati - OOAK is One Of A Kind. I have a few base body patterns I use and then individualise them.

Welcome Jen. I SO admire people who sew & knit ... I entertain the idea of doing it myself but I wonder if I actually would ... I've just roped my Mum into trying to knit a couple of different types of soakers for me instead! Would love to see some pics of your work.
