Hi Sally & welcome to Nappycino

I was just wondering how you pronounce your youngest DD's name?

It's Soviet (like USSR) and Skya together. It means 'big community' and is also a lake in the Russian sector of Antarctica.

Right, here's a link to the kids entertainment at Floriade.

I can see that we'll be spending a lot of time at Floriade this year. Too many activities to choose from! Perfect timing too, I might need some toddler/pre-schooler distractions over the next month.

How about one of these for a possible nappycino meet-up?
* Friday 21 September 10am - school bands playing til 2pm, CIT Children's Program til 2pm (face painting etc)
* Friday 28 September 11am - Steve Parish book signing (our girls love his children's books)
* Tuesday 2 October 10:30am til 2pm - Kinderjazz - kid's jazz band featuring George Washingmachine (violin player from the Justine Clarke CD)
* Friday 5 October - National Zoo displays (snakes, lizards & frogs) at 10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm; Patting Paddock 10am til 4pm
* Friday 12 October - 10am til 4pm Just Clowning Around do face painting etc; 10am til 2pm Kids At Play have play equipment etc; 10am til 4pm Patting Paddock; 11am til 2pm Drop Bears (silly people falling out of trees in the name of entertainment).

I'm hoping that Eilleen can make it, hence I've suggested lots of Friday possibilities

Would love to meet up whenever. My kids really enjoy Floriade, so it won't be a problem to drag them along.
