hello from mum of two boys
hello everyone... i am kas_chat, i have two boys, a 4 yo (aug 03) and a 4 month old (may 07). i dont get much time to come online but when i do i try to check into nappycino. i am starting to transfer to mcn after using terry flats during the day mostly at home and disposables at night. i purchased two peapods, a green and a brown small size and are getting used to them. i have a sewing machine and a overlocker that i barely ever use... but i am thinking that i could make my own pads and panty liners and some mcns... i had my 4 yo in pullups at night and want to make some mcn trainers for him... i tried the l size of peapod but it didnt fit well... hmmm... have to go its supposed to be getting boys into bed time.

All the best with your sewing! I didn't know how to sew at all when this site started but I'm starting to give it a go now. I just used old clothes and stuff to make my nappies - anything absorbent would do. It was a great way to learn!

Hi Kas and welcome to NC good luck with your sewing...I have a brand new still in the box sewing machine in my cupboard which I'm pretty scared of :lol:, gotta work up the courage to get it out!!!
