Well, I have a 4 1/2 month old little girl named Lily. She is a blast. I came to this forum not only to support cloth diapers but to support Elimination Communication. I started this back when she was about 3 months old but the day care wasn't very supportive. I had to stop because I didn't want to confuse Lily. However, I am now a stay at home mom so I started back up again and it is going great. It seems to take up a lot of my day because I am trying to set the ground work. I want her to be used to not having a wet diaper and not soiling herself at all. Of course I am not 100%....I have good days and bad days.
On a separate note I have a great husband Brandon and two dogs Roxy and Stewie (who don't exactly like the new addition to the family ). I was in the military up until a few weeks ago. Decided being at home with the baby was a better choice and I'm so glad I have that opportunity.
I'm still living in Germany but will be moving to the Baltimore area in a few months, which I am very excited about .
I'd love to speak to anyone who had taken on the challenge of elimination communication. I'll take any advice or guidance through this fun/challenging experience. Thanks!

Hi! Welcome to NC. I'm sure you'll love it here.
I don't have any experience with EC, although I keep thinking I should try it just for DS's morning poo which is regular as clockwork. LOL!
So you're moving from Germany to the US? Scary! I'm leaving on an international holiday tomorrow, and I can't imagine anything scarier - except going in order to move there, instead of coming back.
Catch you 'round.

Hi & welcome
I *think* there's some threads on EC from at least one Member I can think of...
I'm not too good with searches but if you try you might have better luck than me

best of luck with it all, we only ever did it on a casual basis so I doubt I'll be of much help.

Welcome to Nappycino and sounds like you've got some exciting times ahead

Oh I could never do EC because then I'd have to cull my stash lol

Seriously, I think we all have done EC to some extent (isn't that what nappy free time is all about? lol). I have never done it conscientiously but I think with my first, he had so much nappy free time that it could almost be classed as EC lol. We switched to disposables when he was 6mths and then things kind of got blurry....I haven't even thought to do anything like that since.

I have gone back to cloth with my 4th (she's now 18mths and been in cloth fulltime about 6mths) and thoughts of EC are now creaping into my mind. But I guess at this age it would be called toilet training lol. Only difference is that her develop is delayed and I don't expect her to be toilet trained until about 5yrs.

Good luck with the move!
