Default Hi there

Well my names Missy. I am 24. I am a single stay at home mum to 2 boys (4 and 3) and have baby number 3 (another boy) due in 11 weeks!! I think I am in for some fun!! Just me and the boys

I have only ever used sposies ... but since finding out I was pregnant I have been buying up on cloth nappies, most second hand or home made off ebay. (my way of thinking is if I get fitted it's just like a disposable, on and off quick smart without the full rubbish bins and excess waste, while saving myself money)

So far I have only brought all in ones. A fellow cloth nappy buyer on ebay reccomended I buy fitted cloth and get wool covers/longies/shorties so here I am!!

I have been having a sticky beak and am LOVING the links. I am not too keen on buying covers but I have no clue how to sew or knit

Lucky for me I have a lovely nan who knits and a lovely aunty who is very talented on the sewing machine (she made her 4 daughters dance costumes for many many years) so aren't they in for a surprise when I go knocking on their door soon for lessons!

That's just a little about me and my family. I hope to get to know you all and am very excited about learning how to knit and sew so I can convert my friends to cloth (and maybe start making for auctions when I am good enough!!)

Thanks! I am getting excited and wish it was tomorrow already so I could go wool shopping and knitting stuff shopping. Just a question, how do you reuse wool from clothes? Is it just cut an end and unthread? I would love to reuse old jumpers and things from op shops... not only helping charities and the environment but being resourceful as well... seems too good to be true LOL
