HI Everyone

Ok, the joys of being a newbie! Ive actaully been lurking around here for quite a while but only joined recently and now here I am !!

Im Tash - nice to meet you all - I live up in Charters Towers, North QLD on a 80 acre property where we raise goats and make goats milk soap! Soap is my passion - we make it from scratch and we have very spoilt rotten goats LOL

I love cloth nappies too!! We have been using the good old terry towelling flats on our 6 month old little girl Rayne, and I stumbled accross a site promoting MCN'S! SOLD!! OMG, they are so cool! But confession time - I only got my first one today!! I did a swap with someone on another site and I am in lovvvvvvvvveeeeeeee!

I plan on making some very shortly, I bought the sewing machine, my darling husband bought me an overlocker for Valentines day (isnt that so sweet?) and now Im waiting for the snap presses to become available again and I will be off and running!! YAY!!I love bamboo, its beautiful stuff, Rayne is going to have nappies coming out her ears!!

I have 2 other children as well but they are 11 and 13, not in nappies thats for sure
Oh yeah, Im married to an awesome man and we are vegans with 1 exception - eggs! I cant quit them no matter what, they are a weakness, I also have heaps of free range chickens that I woul dhave to get rid of too Nope.

Um what else? We grow our own veggies, and grow our own fruit, a lot of which got wiped out the other week thanks to the floods but its all good

I do know one other person here - Pheebs!! Shes a darling. Im sure I know a lot more of you and will recognise you after a while - say hi if you know me!

Ok, thats wayyyy long enough, I can dribble on for hours and usually do.

Hey Hey Tash you are my idol...I just love, goats, chickens, nappies, and growing your own veg but dont to any of it yet.

I started a veg garden 6 months ago...put a lot of money it to it and then some animal came in and destroyed it. I havn't had the money to replace it I am sorry you lost yours in the floods.

jonandkate+1 - haha your a sweetheart - thankyou Its a lot of hard work, my day starts at 5'ish and ends at 11 or so but its worth it. We homeschool as well and Im a full time student and we are trying for another bub! We must be crazy! But I love every second.
Theres nothing worse than when an animal comes and destroys your stuff - we had dingoes come in her not long ago trying to kill our baby goats, our Maremmas took care of that!
