    Default Out of Lurkdom....

Hello, my name is Lucy and I've been spending many hours when I should have been asleep researching and reading about MCN....My DD1 just toilet trained herself (literally) so I just have an itty baby to cover in cloth....I'm excited and keen to get started but need to know I'm collecting the right stash first - I'm thinking fitted and covers, mainly. I look forward to getting to know you all!!!

Hi there! Researching cloth is heaps of fun, buying it is even better!! I started off with fitteds and covers, which work great. I then got a few nice AIO's and pockets for going out as my budget allowed!!

Monicat, that's what I figure I'll do too...am totally lusting after some AIO's I've spotted on the 'net! I notice you're in Perth too - is there anywhere around here that you can view and 'play' with MCN? Shops or demonstraters?

The only place I know of is One Earth outlet in Balcatta, the staff are not a great source of information! But they have Baby beehind fitteds, magicalls etc which you can see IRL.

I vaguely remember a hemp shop in Freo selling Itti Bittis, but I can't remember which one(very helpful!) And I know Beth from Karri Tree lane does markets and I think she sells itti bittis too.

I'd also suggest buying one or two or two of a few different brands and styles/types of nappy, before making a huge purchase of just one type. This way you can work out which works best for you and which nappies fit your baby the best.

You can also get some cheap secondhand nappies from buy for baby

Hey there! I live in Southern River too.

You are welcome to pop over for a coffee, the kids can play and have a look at my nappies. I have a huge stash so it should give you some idea of brands.

    If you're interested PM me.
