Cloth for me, too!
I too have been lurking occaisionally and used advice on the site to help buy my first cloth nappies.
I am expecting my first bubs (a girl) anytime. I am 38 weeks along and trying to convince her to come naturally as i am scared of medicalized birth. Although, truly i don't care how she arrives so long as she is healthy and i can hol dher in my arms for many many years. I live in Adelaide, but DH and I are moving back to Sydney in September so that we can be near family and friends. We both have huge families, his in Sydney and mine in California, so it seemed a shame not to have them closer when baby girl is growing up. Our decision to use cloth (at least most of the time I hope) has illicited strange responses from some friends and family, but we are determined to make it work. I am sure that I will be asking for lots of advice, but it is great to know there is a clothie network out there for support. Thanks for reading! mimi.

Hi Mimi! Welcome! You'll find lots of support and advice on cloth here
 That will be nice to move closer to family and friends in Sydney. I was living in Italy when I fell pregnant with my DS so it was nice to move back to Australia closer to my family and friends Best of luck with the impending birth!

Welcome Mimi! My family is in the US (I have family in every state, over there - including Alaska and Hawaii) too - the ones I'm closest to, live in California.

It is nice to have people to talk cloth with. At my baby shower for my DD (I knew too) all the people there were placing bets on how long I'd last using cloth.I think they thought it was some weird pregnancy whim I was doing.lol. Shame they didn't put money on it really, I'd have made a packet!  Anyway, good luck with your move and impending birth.Hope to catch you around the boards.
