Default A hopeful cloth convert :)

Hi everyone,

My name is Kristine and I have a 14 month old son, Adam. When I was preggers with him I was convinced that cloth nappies would be the way to go. I went and bought 24 of those terry towelling flats (COMPLETELY unaware of the modern fitted's that are around) and upon bringing my son home ended up with disposables and have been using them every since. Love them BUT am sick and tired of the money I am outlaying for something that goes straight in the bin! Seeing as we are planning number 2 soon, I figured I would give cloth a go and save a heap of money in the process.

So, I have purchased in the last week, a couple of Green Kids, a Sandra's Stuffable, a Fruit Salad and a Baby Beehind to try out. Am VERY excited about it all and think I am becoming a bit addicted to buying them! Right now I am twiddling my fingers waiting for all my lovely new nappies to turn up in the mail, so haven't been able to start the cloth conversion yet.

Waiting in anticipation though and devouring this forum in the meantime. This place is fantastic!

Howdy
If you haven't gotten rid of your flats keep them - they dry quick as backups if you need them, or as extra to boost your stash. I ended up sewing all mine up (from DD and DS1) into fitteds so there's that option too
Have fun!!!
