Welcome Kylie!! Don't forget that the resale value of these nappies are also fantastic. So what you're spending now, you will recoup some of it later
.Enjoy! |

Welcome Kylie,
it is so much more satisfying to buy lovely cloth than a pack of disposables! and while the initial outlay is more expensive in the long run it is soooo much cheaper plus the buzz of fluffy mail makes it all ok! some terry squares are useful for filling out a stash ~ if you've got good covers (which it sounds like you have) they work terrifically ~ we used them pretty much exclusively for 10 months

Hi Kylie!
Welcome to NC! I see you've had some expert help already! Good for you and it's easier than it seems! I have a 9mo son who is 100% cloth nappied and it's been a fun learning curve all the way!! Enjoy.

Welcome Kylie, it's good to have you here.
And the trick to making cloth cheaper than disposables, is knowing when to stop buying. It's harder than it sounds.

Hi Kylie,
Our bubs are the same age and I shudder to think what I would have spent on disposables by now. If and when number 2 comes along for us at least we can reuse some nappies. My usband sewed about 10 small fitteds and they are about to be used on their third bum so far!! Our friends just keep passing them around once their bub has outgrown them!
