New to Nappycino...
Hi all.
Yet another new face to get to know! I'm a cloth-mad-mum in Darwin, and I barely know where to begin in describing myself. I have a 2 year old daughter out of cloth, and a four month old son in cloth. My adventures in cloth began before my daughter was born (November 2003), and I started out my stash with an assortment of flats, fluffies, Zappy nappies and a nappy I found in Darwin called a "Happy Nappy". I wonder if others know the style? I have made a lot of my own, and this style is one of my favourite day time nappies.... trimmer than anything incl. hemp, and absorbent enough for anything but a long trip or nap. Added to the stash these days are Baby Greens (my faves for o/night) and some gorgeous hemp nappies made by a friend. I'm amazed at how much has changed in the whole world of MCN's just the past two or three years, and I love how many more people I speak to are keen to give cloth a go. My kids have never used anything but, and while I don't have a problem with people who make other choices for their kids, I'm really glad cloth has worked for us. I'm a married, SAHM (sort of - we seem to be out a lot!). My husband just is as keen, if not keener on cloth than I am... and I wouldn't have thought that was possible! I've been telling friends about cloth nappies for years, and sharing my stash for a long while, but I have been really encouraged by my friendship with Jayne from Nurture Nappies and I'm really thrilled to be one of the new demonstrators for Nurture Nappies. So, that's the short version of my life. I'm looking forward to seeing others about as I start posting here. Oh, I use the same user ID on Oz Cloth, so some may recognise me from there. Cheers, Ruby

Thanks for the welcome!
I've been inspired to dig through my stash tonight, and am feeling that lovely buzz that you only get from soft, squishy, clean nappies. Well, I only get it from nappies; others may have deeper secrets. Kermi, are you a Top Ender as well? I only know one other here on the baords, but looking forward to finding out if there are a lot of us...

No Ruby....
Originally from FNQ - Cairns but a SE Qlder for now! Have a very close G/F and family who are Darwinites tho!!! I believe Jazz and bubbalove are our Darwinites here!!
