Question Another new potential clothie!

I am here, a potential clothie!

I have a 19 month old DD and started using a little bit of terry flats but soon stopped that (uugghh!!). They just weren't absorbent enough and too fiddly.

So now, being newly educated by a thread elsewhere, I have decided to dip the toe in so to speak.

I'm thinking that pockets are what I'm after. I want something with cover already but can be boosted easily and dries reasonably (cold climate).

Apart from that I have no idea - there are so many to choose from!!! How do I work out which brand? I want value for money of course, and cute patterns!!!

Help!

welcome and good luck! it is a personal choice - I can recommend a few pockets that are great - Green Kids are a great all-round pocket (and I love their hemp trifold inserts also), Sandra's Stuffables are a great fit and quite trim as are Fruit Salad's. Then there is the choice between fleece and PUL - both are great.

Like Rebecca said - have a browse through reviews and the threads on here. Everyone is very helpful!

I'm a fitted girl myself, I find a beehind and cover much quicker then stuffing a pocket but I have both fuzzi bunz and pea in pods pockets and find both last about the same amount of time.

http://www.ozebaby.com.au/allstores.php is a great place to start. So many patterns.

There is also the option to make your own.

Welcome to NC!!

There are plenty of reviews on the NC homepage of various types of pockets. http://www.nappycino.com/component/option,com_facileforms/Itemid,26/ff_name,ReviewList/ff_param_section,4/ff_param_cat,16/ff_param_limit,25/ff_param_order,name/
We own around 7 different types of pockets and love them all for different reasons! All the best for your research!! Enjoy.

Welcome and enjoy the adventure of cloth! There was a thread somewhere - what are your must haves - and you can see there that everyone is different. My advice; try plenty!
