Default Expecting a cloth bumed babe in November

Hi
I've been lurking for awhile gathering heaps of infomation and thought it was finally time to introduce myself! My name is Emily and I'm expecting my first baby on the 19th November (a honeymoon baby). I'm planning on using cloth on my little one from birth (they even use cloth at the hospital, yay!). I'm planning on making most of my stash, I have already made 6 Honeyboys with heaps more material to make more. I also have plans on making some VB small fitteds to use aswell as prefolds for when Bubs is brand new.

I'm having my 19 week scan tomorrow where we will hopfully find out Bubs sex. I have my eye on some really cute small fitteds at Erica's that I have resisted buying until we know. I'll be rasing back after the scan tomorrow to buy them

Looking foward to talking cloth with you all!

Hi Emily and welcome,

I'm also in Melbourne and we're expecting our first in September. Very impressed at you making your own - did you find it easy?

Hi and welcome!
we used a lot of flats with wool covers for the first weeks, changing so often was the main reason and very quick dry!
i agree with Jamie Ericas are wonderful and wash up fatastically!!
if unsure just ask! everyone super helpful

Hi and welcome!
November is a good time to have a baby - you'll be able to show off cute nappies/covers. I hate having to cover mine up - I think I need to buy some wool longies!
