I'd add it but ..... (huge confession here LOL I don't actually know what it stands for and Megsie asked me the other day my answer NFI; we wet ourselves laughing when we realised neither of us knew. So I bet we're not the only ones!!! (Least I hope )

I also use AF all the time and often wondered what it meant. Thanks

What does 'wick' mean? I read in a thread that a nappy would wick around the legs.

it means the dampness travels from the inner of the nappy to the outer (usually at the legs but can be elsewhere).
another example is say you put the corner of a tshirt in some water and the rest of the shirt slowly gets wet - we call that 'wicking'
