Ok, I hope this is in the right spot...
I have a friend who is due with her second bub soon. She used compostables with her first, but has expressed an interest in using MCN with the next one. She is wanting to go entirely organic - clothing and all - with this baby. So I was wondering if there are any totally organic nappies out there? I'm assuming it would only be flats, prefolds and fitteds. And she'd have to use knitted wool covers, I suppose. But what about wool dyes? I'm a total novice at organic stuff, so I was hoping someone here would be able to make some suggestions. Ta.

There are a few brands of organic nappies around. Motherease has some fitteds (although PUL covers, so covers not organic), BabyE has fitteds and often has "natural wool" covers (undyed, etc, but I they didn't use to be organic, don't know now), Disana are all organic, including great, undyed, nothing leaks through type wool covers. Also Cute Tooshies have some hemp/organic cotton nappies. Nature's Child has some too I think. These brands are sold by a few different places. I know that there will be others too. Perhaps other people here can add to the list? That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
It shouldn't be difficult to get organic wool covers, as long as undyed is okay. Fiona K

Yep Nurture Nappies has quite a few organic products, Jayne actually has an "organic nappies" link to make searching easier. From memory there are the Dream-Eze nappies, Motherease, Little Beetle (nappy and woolies), LANAcare woolies, Baby Greens, organic flats... okay brain just died LOL.

WOW! You guys really know your nappy stuff! Thanks a ton for all this info. Now I can go on the hunt. I reckon she'll do the MCN thing now that she can get it to fit with her organic ideals. Ta a million!!!!

I love the Motherease Baby E one size organic fitteds - they are great!!! i have 2 of the day time ones and one night time one, they are probably my fravorite fitted nappy so far. there was a link earlier in the week that had them on sale, not sure if they still are but heres the link (my computer wont bring it up for some reason!): http://www.cottonbottom.com.au/shop/...ease-m-16.html
also there is the Natures Child Organic AIO nappies - i have one of these but im not really that impressed. the moisture always seems to wick to the outer layer & jets clothes get all wet, not sure if im doing something wrong (im only new to this!). it seems to contain the explosive baby poos well though! i know that Natures Child sells them: http://www.natureschild.com.au/produ..._nappy_/1961/1 mel
