Default To keep or to sell???

Hey ladies

Well i have been using cloth for a few months now and i have definately worked out what works for us and i am thinking about selling a lot of nappies that aren't my favourites. My dilemma is that obvioulsy they cost a lot of money and i feel like i am wasting my money by selling them off. I have a few covers that have barely been used and also i don't think much of my BBB's. Should i just hold onto them because they cost a lot of money even though i am not really too happy with them. I mean, i guess they could come in handy for when we have #2. I am really just hooked on one particular brand of nappy and wanna be boring and only use that one brand! lol

Anyways, just wanted to see what others think.

Cheers!

Vee

You may think you have wasted your money but think about how much disposables cost and they get thrown away.

I feel if something doesn't work for you and you get 1/2 if not more of your money back then you are doing great. You don't get a resell on sposies.

I think it comes down to how much you want to keep them

is it better to keep them "in case" you need them in future - because kids change shape, or the amount they wee, and second children aren't always the same as the first!

or sell them and get more of the ones you really like

if you sell them you will lose some money obviously, but on the other hand if a nappy sits in the cupboard for 3 years and doesn't get used at all then you lose all the money spent on it, IYKWIM

Some nappies have good resale value. The brand you mentioned does I believe! So you may be pleasantly surprised at what you get for them. And if the brand you love is cheaper than what you're selling you may even cover the costs that way.

Buy what you love I say LOL.

I would try reselling and get at least some of your money back
depending on the space between your bubs, elastic etc may not last, storage is a problem

Hi

You would be surprised the resale on some of the bigger name nappies. If you don't get the price you want you can decide to keep them then and you havn't lost anything by trying. (I would be very interested in what you are selling as I am new to MCN and building up my stash and working out what I like).

Nappies that haven't been used much and are relatively new have a much better resale value, so if you're sure I would rid of them now rather than later. Then you can use that money to get more of what you like.
