Default Cooler weather and soakers question...

Just a quick question...

What do you do when the weather is cooler, and soakers on their own are not warm enough?

Obviously there are longies, but if you do not have them or they are being washed or something, can you put something over the top of a soaker, or does that stop it from being effective?

Our house gets quite cold in winter, and I am not sure that even longies will be warm enough. I do not really like using PUL overnight... but I am wondering if I will need to so I can put something over the top...

My kids wear stuff over their soakers No problems here

Last winter when Coby was only a little baby he used to wear a soaker or a woolen wrap under longies to bed

You can put things over soakers Sharon....but I would make sure they weren't too tight or they could cause compression leaks or wicking (depending on the fabric).
Last winter, I used a polar fleece sleeping bag to prevent these issues though.

Sleeping bags are fine over wool- you could also add a pair of babylegs/huggalugs plus socks if it was really cold
