I've used the fern and faerie ones with success!

Another one I've done has been to just fold my terry flat so its like a pre-fold and then sew down the middles.... kinda like the way you would do a Gaynor fold but not in a diagonal.... ok, I think I didn't make ANY sense just then.

okay, coming back to clarify.... this is what I did in pictures.

1. Pic terry flat.

2. Fold 3 quarters of the way up - I flicked the left side of the terry a bit in the pic so you can see how far up I folded.

3. fold back and sew the middle bit along the lines I put up.

Of course this only shows a 1 layer -4 layer - 1 layer configuration.

oh and excuse the scummy flat I used. It was a dye job that went horribly wrong.

thanks for this - one Eileen awesome idea on re using flat nappies as pre folds -just what I wanted
but ....
sorry for this dumb question I am a real novice

can you just use prefolds (these recycled nappies) as a nappy on 8 months old - with a cover ?
can you make a pocket with them or would they be too narrow ?

would you still be able to boost ?
