Good on you for converting ... that is so inspiring.
Can't change the past but move forward to a better way I hope you leave some BBH for me ... I am another convert in progress - I have used far too many bulk packs in 8 months - my twin boys could build a cubby house with the boxes almost. I did use terry flats cloth with 13yr son -as baby (we adopted him at 1yr) and a few disposables. He was TT just over two and I used those terry pants (no pullups then I don't think anywaya) |

In Queensland ;O) Our boys where both on the speical needs placement program though adoptions. J has a syndrome and N had some birthfamily issues that could become a issue in adulthood. BOTH of our boys are miracles and we love them beyond words.........
J is now 9 and N is 4 years old............both doing awesome,

Hmmmm this is so strange, my Dh and I are just going down the IVF road now, we have a birth child he is 12 and finally we decided to give IVF a go............Fostercare is a heartbreaker, been their doing that...............we have 2 that we could lose(one very unlikely too) and ya know its just a Heartbreaking thing to do, you lose part of your life, your soul and your heart when then go back to birthfamilies even if the situation is positive(which it sometimes is) I am not a half hearted fostercarer..............you live in my house you are loved as my own, its the only way I can do it. Adoption isn't for us anymore either..........we had 2 very long and drawn out battles to get our boys home, and I am not able to give my heart to that again. So IVF is it............we are just doing the referals, seeing the Speicalist and deciding what options to do. I have done some fertility treatments before, natural options to...........nothing worked at that time, so the Dr now think the only option is full IVF with icsi...............so we will see, I guess I am going to need that money saved from disposibles to pay for this LOL................
I have alot of hope, I am healthy, I have lost weight and I am for sure now ovulating (wasn't before) so I just have to convince this darn body to make a baby LOL..............I am happy to PM you with my boys full story..................

Hey Nickimum - PM me - can you PM here ? I would love to chat to you. It is a small world sometimes. Glad your precious little guys are doing so well. We are blessed all round by their presence in our lives.
Yep - the sposies money saved will be useful but there are also some IVF programs cheaper than others - public sort of. |
