Default Motherease covers?

I am wanting to try the Motherease Rikki covers for my bub, as I've heard they're great.

I just went to purchase one and saw that the x-small and small are listed as being for the same weight range???? So where is the size difference? And which one should I get? I am wanting it for while we are using the nappy service (flanny flats) which will be three months tops. I am especially hoping to use it for when bubs is very new.

TIA!

I came across this on another good nappy site;

Note that the Rikki also comes in an XS size, although the weight range is the same as the S. This is specifically for use either with prefolds or with the XS Sandy’s nappy, giving a particularly trim fit for a newborn.

So if you are using flanny flats (which are trimmer than terries), you may want a couple of the XS for very early days?

ETA- You may also want to consider using a cheaper cover like the the Eenees Snibb for those very early days too, then just buying the small ME for bub to grow into? A way to save money, but the ME would be a much nicer cover and fit IMO...so up to your personal preference and budget :-)

Thanks so much Lindy, you're a life saver!

I have also ordered a couple of eenees snibs, and plan on buying a couple of other different covers. So maybe I'll get the small size, in case we change to terries.

I don't want to spend a fortune, but I do want to have a good selection of covers. I guess I can justify it by saying that I can always use them on the next bub too. It's so hard to know what to do!

No worries. Yep, good covers really are a must for success with cloth- particularly for young bubs where you can have those poo-plosions ME have a very good name as do Bummis and the Eenees snibs are suppose to be effective too. Happy cover shopping!!

I used the ME Rikki Small from birth. They were fantastic! I find the airflow cover better now that Isabel undoes any TT nappies or covers though.
