We use microfibre folded into 4 on top to absorb quickly and then hemp closest to the pul side to hold the wee. Maybe try a different shaped insert and give the pockets a hot wash. Are the inserts saturated when you remove them? Just need to rule out overflooding...

sounds like the fit then. is it a new or old style?
old style was a larger fit. how about you try using the pocket as a cover, with the hemp insert layed on top - it might work better??

Just popped on to say that Riv was by no means a little baby and I got the peapods when he was maybe a month old...and they just didn't work. Leaked, wicked, funny fit...
So I put them aside and NOW (he's 6months) they work really really well! I really like them now. So if they're not working for you, maybe don't force the issue or worry, just put them aside and try them once a month til they start working for you!

Peapods are quite a big fitting nappy. I have a few different pockets all mediums and peapods is by far the biggest fitting. My DS is small to average size and it doesnt really suit her. It also seems to gape a bit at the back of the legs which is where you are having leaks.
I have swaddlebees pockets and they are a much better fit. But while your bubs is still small you are probably better using prefolds or fitteds and covers. You might be able to use the peapods as covers over prefolds. This is annoying as you already have peapods but like with clothes - not all styles suits everyone. What covers are you using on your terry flats? This makes a huge difference to how they work. I would look at getting decent covers if you dont have any - eg. bummi superwhisper wraps or motherease; and some prefolds and maybe some small fitteds - there are some good buys around. Sorry we cant be more help. Sounds like you have tried everything with the peapods. Shara |

Also it important to know exactly what happens when they leak, where they leak from, are the inserts wet or dry when they leak and things like that to determine what the problem might be.
