Default Advice on best basic all-the-same stash

My pregnant friend has come to me wanting advice on what nappies to get. She wants to do cloth, and is keen to try MCN (woohoo!).

I think she will be better keeping it simple and easy, so my idea is to go for an entire OSFA fitted stash, with some good covers, plus a set of flat nappies for backup.

They don't have a huge budget, but enough to buy a full set from the beginning. My idea was to recommend a stash of baby beehinds.

Another option is a full stash of tots bots, but then she'd have to get the next size up after 10 months or so, so it's not as economical.

Any other good ideas? Needs to be easy to purchase.

I'd say Baby Beehinds - a combo of hemp and bamboo. They have a good range of day and night uses.

I really like my Tots Bots but wouldn't want a whole stash of them iykwim.

You could also go Cute Tooshies, they are OSFA - and have a few different varieties now. So same fit, but different fabrics.

Would she consider two sorts? I would go baby beehinds, home made woolies and green kids pockets, the pockets could also be used as covers without the stuffers in them as an alternative to the PUL covers.

Are Cute Tooshies in stock anywhere? She really wants a quick turnaround cos we are in HK but getting a friend to bring them back from Australia, and the friend is coming in a couple of weeks.

I would also suggest the baby beehinds... however I have only tried the side snap bamboo velour cute tooshies, and to be honest I prefer the baby beehinds.

Of the one size nappies I have tried I would also recommend the Baby Beehinds- I have the bamboo, but I hear the new hemp fleece is also lovely and soft. As others have said, these can be boosted for night use very successfully. Though I would q their suitability on a newborn.

There are also Baby Greens Growing Greens which are similar to Baby Beehinds. I think these are v.clever because there is one big booster on the inside which snaps out and is used on its own as a contour for use in the newborn days (inside a cover).

If you can afford, some bamboo flats would also be a nice supplement.
