Hi there, welcome to Nappycino.
I support the 20-28 quantity. I use around 6 per day (24hrs) on my 22mo DD who is a heavy wetter and wash 5days/week and am finding the days I go two days between washes a bit of a stretch. I have 18-20, I've lost count. I reckon I need at least 2 more.
I must admit, though, I used less on my first DD, so it can vary.
We have had rain rain for three days (yippee) and I am finding the quickest drying thing I have (no flats here) is the two layer hemp trifolds. They are equivalent to a 2 three layer hemp boosters, but dry must quicker on the line and in the dryer. Fleece dries so well, if as a cover or Pocket (that once stuffed doesn't need a cover), my fleece AIO's do take a bit more drying than I thought, but I did put two and a half layers of flannellette in them.

Thanks Sheree the main reason why AIO's didn't really interest me was beacuase of the drying time, I used flats on my DD but my boy is a wriggler so i reckon MCN is def the wya to go with him, as I said earlier (or maybe I said it in another thread?) living in Melb with winter coming up I'll need something that dries pretty quickly, or I'll just need lots of them
So I reclon I'll get a few Beastly Bumz to begin with and see how I like them, then I can expand my stash and figure out why I like them (apart from them being soooo gorgeous haha) but I really reckon they're what I'm looking for, but it's trial and error really isn't it? until the perfect nappy is found!!

Yep Kylie, it's the journey that makes the whole stash buying so much fun!

I mean you could buy a whole heap of one type of nappy and they may not "work" on Ben.....
I'm not going to admit how many we have....or how many different brands and types we have... but lets say we have one for any occasion...

And yep - 24 is a great starting amount!

i liked greenkids pockets when i converted, stuffed with folded flanny flats coz they both dried SOOO quick. and at 3 months bree had plenty of absorbency, not like now LOL!

I reckon my addiction is gonna grow and grow and grow, showed DF the Beastly Bumz and he loved them so will start my collection off with a few of those.
