Question Starter Packages?

I don't own any cloth nappies yet and wondered if a starter package that some online stores offer are worth it? Two that have caught my eye are the Nurture Nappies Stash for $160 and Cotton Bottoms Tots Bots Full Time Bots Package for $380. Thoughts, comments, reviews and suggestions are most welcome, thank you!

Having just put together my own stash together I have a little advice on how I would do it if I had a do-over. Read the reviews on nappicino and ask heaps of questions before doing anything. Then I would suggest getting a pack with heaps of different types of nappies for you to try. it is better value than buying them one/two at a time like I did. The nurture nappies one looks okay value (depending on the price of the wet bag... I'm not sure on this).
The baby beehinds day and night trial pack was good as it had the whole array of goods they sell in it (except prefolds) and it had no postage either.

This one looks okay as well:

I realy like the idea of the nurture nappies one, that gives you a taste of 5 really great nappies, I've seen all those nappies IRL and I'd get that if I knew nothing else

The only thing is whether they will suit your child, but you can always sell off what doesn't, they would all get good resell as well.

I personally would get all of one style of nappy, as if they dont suit then you will have more to replace, that said, I have a friend who bught a similar package (tots bots) and loved them, so each to their own really?

buying single nappies is harder due to the postage, but if you can buy a few from a multiseller it would work out quite well?

I agree with everything you said Katanya.
I think try different nappies untilyou find a type that suits you and bub before you buy all the one type.

hi im looking at getting the full time BBh package from www.modernparetnsvintageways.com which for $580 This bulk package includes: 26 Baby Beehinds Hemp or Bamboo Nappies 6 PUL Nappy cover 2 Wool Nappy cover 1 Pack of Microfleece Liners 6 Bamboo Boosters.
I ordered a trial BBH bamboo for my guinea pig(3yrd old toddler) and am very impressed with the absorbancy and fit. although it pains me to put a cover on such beautiful coloured BBhs.
im not planning on getting these though till the twins are at least 3months ..so im saving for the $580X2..

I would also recommend trialling a range of different nappies and then deciding on the ones you like.

Having said that I'm still trialling nappies after 18 months and have never decided on one particular brand / style

I just ordered the Nurture Nappies one but it changed slightly and I miss out on the Tots Bots Fluffle for $10 - bummer! I should get it delivered just before the long weekend which is the weekend I will be experimenting with my sewing machine

I liked the baby beehinds starter pack because i got to try a hemp and bamboo nappy, a pul cover, a wool cover and a hemp and bamboo booster and got some wipes too, this was my first mcn purchase and i used these two nappies as night nappies until i could build my stash up

Its a great idea to try all different types of nappie sbut then you end up paying alot of postage, i have mainly stuck to peapods and fitteds and have only tried two different aios but dont want to try mor eyet as i have planty of fitteds to last, so i found something that worked quickly and have stuck with it

Try ordering from the same site to save postage costs but i warn you it becomes addictive lol
