Hi there everyone! Thanks for the helpful advice. I am going to investigate this further and I will let you know what I find. I also agree that PP is a bit of a tragedy for the cloth butt. Very sad really, because it is expensive stuff and I will have to fold my gifts away without even having used them. My favorite brand to date for my son is BabyKids. The sizes that are written on the tag work. He's 6 kg and wearing 000 in this brand and looks fab! I find that they are longer in the body and the leggings fit perfectly without having dangling leg extensions! My next discovery is the Woollies brand called, Little Wishes. A baggier fit and again the legs fit well without having to upsize. Cheap too! He's a 00 in this brand. This weekend I hit the sales, tape measure in hand (now you know where my e-name comes from), to find the best shoulder to crotch size for my son. I'll let you know what I find. B

Excellent Sciencebabe! Your research will be very interesting - I bet you find an enormous difference in the measurements of sizes between the brands!

For bed i use the baby sleeping babgs i just buy a size bigger and it doesnt matter how boosted the nappy is DS still fits in the bag

With the grow suits when ds was younger and fit in them better i used to leave the middle two crotch snaaps undone so it would fit over his night nappy, the day time nappies were fine just at night as they were boosted a bit

I'm interested to know which brand you found to be the bigger make, as i find bonds the smallest

Smaller fitting AIOs like Itti Bittis and Rumpsters are good for day wear and fit well under PP clothes IMO.
