Default growsuits for the bigger bottom

Hi there...I'm new to the group and have a 2.5 month old baby boy in BBH/BBB. Love the cloth concept and also the fact that BBH were conceptulised in Oz. What I'm finding though is that the BBB are getting a bit stiff. Has anyone else experienced that? I also find that not all growsuits fit him. Does anyone have any suggestions for fab clothes for cloth nappied baby bums

Thanks

Sciencebabe

hi, welcome to nappycino! we'd love an intro in the 'getting to know you' forum when you get time.

Your bamboo BB are abit stiff? I find bamboo stays the softest.....abit of friction usually helps
hemp can get stiff - a spell in the dryer can help, or dry in shade, or abit of rubbing/friction.

I prefer woolen longies at night, as they are pants and a nappy cover in one.
when bree was younger i used baggier suits than bonds, PP or kmart or something

hth's.

I was going to ask a similar question - if anyone could recommend some baby clothes brands which are made with that little bit of extra space... (if that is appropriate to the forum)

i find PP allinone suits really roomy, and kmart those thin cotton ones are OK.i dont like the baggy fleecy type ones (as it looks like their toes get squashed) but they are roomy too. kmart clothes generally have room for a cloth butt. i find PP jeans and bonds grosuits the worst

We generally upsized I think rolled cuffs on littlies are adorable hehe

I agree about the PP, that's practically all J wore as a NB We still had stuff unused LOL

Target, too are very generous.

I've also seen onesie extenders - ie, a small piece of grosuit fabric with studs on either end, which you can snap into the crotch to make it fit for longer.

These were in Mothercare up here in Hong Kong, so I'm not sure where you'd get them in Australia??

I find that Baby E clothing are a great fit for a cloth bum, but also most K-Mart and bonds clothing I haven't had any problems with. I sometimes upsize pants aswell and just roll the bottoms up

We upsized in wondersuits but I found that from about 12 months, the Bonds suits fit DD better because she was alot slimmer than she was as a newborn.

I have also found the k-mart brand (now or solutions) suits to be a baggier fit.
