What are longies and soakers? are they simply put wool covers? ami right in thinking that they go over the nappy? im thinking of trying to con my MIL inot knitting me some while i learn. do they have some sort of backing material inside them or are they straight up wool?if so what the requirements for the type of wool to be used? thank everyone |

yes they are knitted wool covers.
i think you use 8 ply 100% pure wool. hers some pics of soakers and longies as nappy covers on my bub (that my MIL knitted up).http://jadalynbriellenappies.blogspo...9%3A00-07%3A00

No question a silly question kelera.
If you need some quickly and can't knit quick enough, you can always make bumjumpers - which are longies/shorties out of 100% wool jumpers
