Default Little Koala prefolds

I am looking at getting some Little Koala prefolds and just wondering which ones should I get I want to use them on from day one. So what size do I get?

Infant or Regular and standard or premium

And should I get 12 or more?

Also bleached or unbleached?

There is so much to learn about MCN.

Danielle

unbleached is better, more absorbent and softer apparently
id get infant, as its cheap enough to get both sizes (if you use prefolds wiith older bubs)....and infant fit well in pockets and for boosting later on - the other size is abit big for that
um, standard would dry quicker....premium more absorbent - maybe half / half??

I'd always go premium rather than standard for that extra little bit of absorbency

last year I bought a dozen bleached infant prefolds from buyforbaby (when it was buyena) which I believe are from Little Koala. they are slightly longer than the unbleached ones from theweewuns, so they are actually fitting for longer (Caelan must be getting close to 8kg now and still fits them)

agree that infant size just keep on being used.... the ones I originally bought for Jordan (unbleached from theweewuns) were used for 3months as nappies, then for 18months as boosters in night nappies or in pockets, then for about 6 months they were used as mop-up cloths for nappy-free accidents until Jordan finally worked out how to wee on the toilet instead of the floor (!) Then they have been used for 4 mnths as nappies for Caelan ...... well and truly worth every cent I spent on them A couple of them are starting to develop holes but with the amount of use they've copped, I'm not surprised!

I have infant and standard. The infant were fine on my 3.66kg bub, with the front folded down. Now they make good pocket stuffers in my trimmer pockets - I can use the standard to stuff larger pockets but my boy is in a large now so plenty of space.

I agree with everyone, I have about 10 infant prefolds, never used them on an infant but they come in sooo handy later on as pocket stuffers and boosters for night time etc.

And I love the fact that they will now be used if we are blessed with another baby!

I can't comment on the standard or premium. I guess like someone said, it would be nice to have the absorbency of the premium but would be a little bulkier.. Depends on whether you are a change when wet person or leave for ages person.
