Hi Haydies and welcome! Congratulations to you too I feel like I've found a kindred spirit! I'm due for my first bub in mid-September and there are no babies on either side of our families at all so I'm very much new to all this too! And I'm a huge fan of research myself and I've decided the best system for me will be pocket nappies and bamboo flats with PUL covers and snappies. I considered AIOs for going out too but I figured that if you just pre-stuff your pocket nappies beforehand then it's just like an AIO anyway - you grab the nappy and whack it on - and the bonus is that it will take less time to dry when you get them home and wash them

Make sure you check out getting a Little Squirt too. They RRP at about $79-89 but I managed to order one in from Reece for $53.50

PM me if you want to chat and swap ideas because I think we have some things in common!

Oops, I only read your first post when I posted that reply and didn't realise you'd already purchased a stash! Oh well lol. I got a Starter Pack from Nurture Nappies which had a Bamboo fitted (so soft!), a hemp fitted (so soft too!), an AIO and a BumGenius pocket nappy. They are all fantastic but I'm leaving buying anymore and I'm going to make my own pockets. I'm just getting into co ops and things now Anyway I'm rambling but it's all very exciting!!
