OK ladies, I need your help here as I think my head is about to explode. I have been looking into the different liners (cloth and not) and my head is spinning.
I am doing my research at the moment as I am not due with my first for a number of months, but trying to get a step up before time runs out (it is going so fast already). Whether this narrows it down or not, from day one I am going to be using mainly fitted cloth, with AIO's as backup, and possibly flats for extreme emergencies at home - like washing not done . Would really appreciate your experiances with your newborns. Did you use liners? If so, what types did you try? Are there any you found better than others? Were any better suited to wees or poops?. As you can probably tell, I haven't got a clue so unfortunately need to rely on you experts to offer advice. I know all bubs are different, just would be good to hear a few different points of view. Thanks.

I'm doing the same with Josie. Cheap microfleece liners which are keeping her skin out of direct contact with the wee and helping to keep all of the BF poo off the nappies!
When her skin is a little red and I feel I need to put on some Sudocrem...I can throw the liner out rather than risk ruining a cloth nappy. Have you considered a few prefolds and well fitted covers for your little one? That's what I've been using (as well as GK pockets) as I find them a lot less bulky than fitteds on such a little bub. Find some lovely soft hemp fleece ones...gorgeous. What an exciting time for you! Congratulations. Nicole

Terry is the hardest to get poop off. I hate trying to scrub a terry square. I found that fleece lined nappies great cause i don't have to remember a liner.
I have to really agree with Nicole and Leah, for $8 a metre at spotlight you can make stacks and throw them when there yuck. I use disposible liners as well, and wash them and get a second use if they havn't been pooped on, when we are using any messy creams and terry nappies

You can also buy flushable liners which I used to use over the top of a fleece one if we were travelling (alot let messy)
