Have you thought of quick dry fitteds or pockets that need a cover? Still quick drying but with the added protection of a cover in case of escaping poo or user error in stuffing the pocket

i must admit now i remember, we used greenkids from 3 months plus and never had a poo leak (or any leak!) AND WE GOT QUITE A FEW OF THOSE MASSIVE POO'S in the carseat (oops sorry caps)
 - maybe a trimmer crotched pocket would have trouble containing but greenkids are awesome
