Default Terry Flats

Hi guys,
just wondering how many of you use terry flats full time. I do and just wondered if I am a dying breed! I would be interested to know who uses them.

Cheers

I did exclusively with my first 3, but have changed to MCN with my last bub, but still use half/half as I am to lasy to wash, so I have 3 dozen flats and around 3 dozen MCN, but about 1 dozen of them are smalls that no longer fit.

yeh Dee! I was wondering if I was all alone heheh. I think MCN are awesome but I did not see the point in replacing all of my terrys with them and spending all that money twice! Plus they dry faster (I have tried a couple of MCNs in the past ). Cool - anyone else???

lol good point Kristy - I have sewn a few polar fleece covers but am a knitter more than a sewer so making some soakers now. My MIL offered to use the flats to make mcn's but I decided against it...it would ruin my stash if she butchered them lol - did I say that out loud!

hehe.... Love the MIL.

I only have them because i am a sewer not a knitter, hence why i have PUL covers not wool sadly, But working my mum into it for me. I think it would be nice to have a couple of wool soakers for hot summer days so she doesn't have to wear plastic on her bum.

I did with Lily until she was 10 months, I love them !! She became the wriggliest baby ever and we converted to MCN but I still used to love using flats when I could for the pureness of it. There is something truly beautliful about a line full of terry flats, my MIL would happily hang out the nappies just for the pure asthetic pleasure of seeing terries on the line

Me too! I use them full-time I have previously used MCN, and previous to that sposies TBH I just prefer flats to MCN and do the same job, well for us anyway I use woolies over them and sometimes fleece, but mostly woolies.

Sometimes I feel it's not 'cool' to do flats, but I figure, stuff it, they work for us!

Smile Re: Terry Flats

I hope to use Bamboo flats at home if I have another bub

I did use Terries with Mia...before I had enough MCN to go full time.

I still hang out a full load of terries every other day it seams....we use them for everything
