Yup I love my quick dry AIOs They are the fastest drying nappies I have. The true AIO do take a while longer but I find they are a similar drying time to the fitteds tbh.

I find the magicalls to dry pretty quickly and it has been raining here so have been drying on a cothes horse inside (not next to a heater) and they are dry within about 24hrs I reckon maybe even less

I'm in Canberra so similar weather I think??

I use more fitteds/pockets during the winter months and use AIOs more in summer.

Drying time is around 24 hours here in front of the heater on the clothes horse for most of my AIOs. I find HBs take the longest, RR the shortest (because of the AI2 factor).

I've put my BPs in the dryer LOTS and they are still great! and 1 of my BPs is 3rd hand so it is definitely hardy!!

I'm in Mulgrave....have some AIO's like BB's, Magicalls, HB's, Widdlewuns (AI2)...in winter they get good drying time over the heater on a clothes horse and outside in summer.....and I always give them 1 cycle in the dryer to soften up.
They all are working fine, and I always have my nappies dry within the 1 day ready for next day use.

I use AIOs in Hobart, so I reckon you could use them in Melbourne If they don't dry on the clothesline I put them in front of the woodheater overnight and they dry with no problem

I am in Sale, Vic (East Gippsland) and I use AIO's also. We are not having many hot sunny days (but the days are sunny IYKWIM) to get them dry right now but thats where outside and then inside after 3.30pm drying time on a clothes airer helps! It takes about 1 1/2 days to get them dry!

I think it depends on the brand of AIO - I have some that can take days to dry on the line, others which will dry very quickly.

The traditional AIO which is literally a single item with everything internal is slower to dry, but there are plenty of AIO's around now that have snap-in boosters (or lay-in boosters) which dry much faster.

Also depends on the fabric in them - multiple internal layers of bamboo is going to take much longer to dry than one with microfibre as the hidden internal soaker.

i agree with Toria- depends on the MCN. There are fitteds that we dont use here either b/c of the drying time. (im in Melb too)

i tend to use pockets with a fold up hemp sq and that is very quick drying.

i dont tend to use anything with more than 2 layers in the shell and 3 layers int he booster (unless it comes apart) as otherwise it takes ages to dry (thats for fitteds). For AIO i use ones that are shell and then the boosters are no more than 3 layers (ittis etc...) and i use fold up boosters as well.
