I can't sew but my mother in law (she made my wedding dress!) and mum both can. But there is no time as DH's cousin is leaving end of this week to come here with all my baby stuff.
I wouldn't mind learning how to sew though when I'm back. There is sewing machines, overlockers etc at both houses. |

Gosh, I'm envious. I've been Really Really Good, and only have a few newborn MCNs, and have been making do with flanny flats and covers, along with one pocket that works, 6 fitteds and a few boosters. Now my girl is getting bigger (5kg) I'm starting to aquire a few more bits and pieces. I'm quite proud of the time in flanny flats like I used to wear though, and the grandmas are confident with washing them which is all right too!
![]() Enjoy your little one, and take some hand and foot prints or something to remember her(?) size by. Here i am at 6 weeks, and 'they grow so fast!'. |
