wow that's quite a stash you will have!
here are some comments (just my opinion): i wouldn't bother buying newborn fitteds/AIO as they won't fit for long. if you do choose some, stick with ones that are the OSFA like the beehinds or at least fit up to about 6 or 7kg if you are buying the fitteds/aios, the ones you've chosen are lovely ![]() with covers, i have found (and heard others have this issue too) that fleece covers and wool covers don't always work well with young babies. because they tend not to move around much, compression leaks are a problem. for a baby under about 5 months, PUL is your best friend. with PUL covers, you can just use 3 or 4 as you don't need to wash them after every use unless you've had a poo blowout. until you know your baby's body shape/size it's hard to know which will fit best. they also dry very quickly (an hour on the airer?) if you start getting lots of blowouts. get more than 12 microfleece liners if you want to use cloth full time. raw silk liners - i'd skip these unless you need them for a specific reason i wish i had a stash like yours! best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy

having only quickly scanned your list, I would add:
another snappi as I found these tended to disappear on me wetbag More microfleece liners ( I would just buy some by the metre from your local fabric store and cut it up - can use polar fleece if you can't find microfleece) less newborn covers as you are mainly using flats and you will struggle to get them to fit Possibly even less small covers (I think you had 10?? on your list) you should be able to get away with less maybe probably 6 or less Mary

Thanks for the advice
I'm overseas so I can't order more till about 2 months after the baby is born as can't get anything mailed here and rely on family to bring it over on trips. I've told my mum to buy a meter of microfleece so I can just cut it up to make liners. I'll add another two snappis as I do have a tendency to lose things. I might cut down on the small covers by two so I have 8. I've already bought 6 at a good price on auction The newborn covers are more for the padfolded bamboo foldups. As I can't just buy something I'm missing all your advice is very helpful! I just want it to keep me going till about 2 months and then I plan to order more one size / fitted size nappies that will last me longer. |

I'm in Saudi Arabia. The problem is a) the local mail system is unreliable and b) we don't have a po box to receive mail. Since we are only here for another 5-6 months we decided not to bother going through all the paperwork to get one. I could use a friends box but by the time it arrives I'll probably be due back in Australia
