BBB or Haute Pockets?

Ok with lots of to and frowing I'm down to these to nappies for a day care situation. I was originally going to go BBB and then someone suggested the pockets. The pros and cons seem to be as follows

BBB pro - very absorbant! (big toddler wees here)
- Good work horse
BBB con - bulky
- need covers
- more hassle putting on/taking off

Haute Pockets pro - slimmer
- comes with insterts
- don't need a cover
- if stuff ahead of time it's a simple change
Haute pocket con - with the inserts provided it may not hold up to big toddler wees

So I thought I'd do a poll to see if I can draw on everyone else experience.

I'd probably go the hautes then there is no need to worry about a cover. I have one haute and when I need it to last longer I stuff it with both inserts plus a facewasher/flannel nearest the microfleece to stop any compression leaks.. Works well

Yep haute here too if add a hemp or bamboo booster it hold very well, and so much easy to use as you dont need to put a cover.

i voted BBB. i have both and i really dont like the hautes. to complicated and dont hold enough. plus i need both inserts for ds and that makes it incredibly bulky!

i voted bbb i dont find them bulky at all they are easy to use and hold heaps

I've never used Hautes so I'm not going to vote but I love my BBB & I don't find them bulky either (tbh I'm always surprised when I hear people say they are bulky ). If you have a very heavy wetter to contend with, I think you will find the BBB much more reliable than the Hautes

I love our BBB, and don't find them bulky. I notice you are in Brisbane (oh, it's so hot already) like us. I never use a cover when at home, I find there is no need.

I hate my BBB and it's sitting in my "sell" pile but I use my Hautes every day.

Our BBB are my absolute favourites...I don't have any hautes so can't vote. I do have other pockets that I also love but just find the BBB to be the most reliable. Hold anything my toddler can dish out (yep..they fit my 17.2kg boy!) and are not at all bulky on Josie.

I don't have a haute so I'm not voting either.

Can you get say 4 of each and trial them for a month and then decide whats working best for you??
