I just throw nappies in bucket - dry pail. Any solid poos just peel off straight down into toilet, any soft liquidy poos get rinsed into toilet with little squirt.
Then I just throw nappies into machine and wash with only one cycle with half a scoop of detergent or 1 bag of soap nuts...depending on my mood and if they seemed really stained.
