I would get a few to try out. You already have a PUL cover that you can use over a fitted nappy.
I would get 1 of each of the following: 1 x Snap in AIO (if you can get an Itti or a Lotus you are laughing, I find them as trim as each other) http://www.lotusnappies.com http://www.ittibitti.com.au 1 x True AIO (Babybeehinds AIO's are cheap and great for day time, and TT) http://www.babybeehinds.com.au/shop/products.php?cat=66 1 x Touch Tape Pocket with inserts (I really like the swaddlebees pockets, easy to get too) http://www.nurturenappies.com.au/sto...t.asp?One=1368 1 x Snap Fitted (Cute Tooshies make a great side snap, and Itti have great trim front snaps) http://www.cutetooshies.com.au/ 1 x TT fitted nappy (can not help you here, I dont really have any) As somebody else said, its all preference. The only way that you will be able to tell is to try them out. You can always sell them if you dont like them. I wouldn't recommend getting too many of the same sort JIC. You could always try and see some cloth IRL too

As previously said - the million dollar question. At first i used terry squares as i didnt know MCN even existed. Then i bought two trial packs - Bambineo and Baby beehinds. Both fitted nappies. I use these at night with wool covers. They are brilliant. Better then disposables as i found that disposable leak for my little girl.
During the day i use AIO,s or just terry squares. I have baby beehinds AIO's which i find brilliant. I live in QLD and they dry VERY quickly up here. I have never tried pockets or AI2s so unfortunately i cant help there. It may seem confusing but you will get the hang of it in no time and be a cloth nappy nerd like the rest of us. |

I have found that fitteds and covers are much better at containg bf poos for at home, but when out and about we use Bubblebubbs aio's mostly. I tried the prefolds, but can't seem to fold them so there isn't too much bulk.
Could be just me though. If you were wanting to try a few different kinds, Nurture nappies have a trial pack http://www.nurturenappies.com.au/sto...t.asp?One=1420 sorry it's blue as the green and pink are sold out atm. and Darlings Downunder have http://www.darlingsdownunder.com.au/...ts.php?cat=130

The prefolds pad folded and a PUL cover is a great option - although not Dad friendly in this house. In order for them to be Dad friendly here it has to be exactly like a sposie. So that's a touch tape closing AIO (or prestuffed pocket if you like them.....I don't).

When they finally come into the country in the next few weeks, I would grab some of the Bum Genius AIO its an ace nappy, but not too kind on the wallet I'm afraid. The Baby Beehinds Magicall is a great price and not too bad in performance and trimness (takes quite a few washes to reach good absorbancy I've found). Rumpsters are really trim, but I'm not liking the butterfly wings of the boosters, they always bunch funny for me. Itti bitties are trim also. Quote:
